Blog Your Blessings Sunday

I'm so grateful that my angels watch over my family and me. All day long I'm always either verbally or silently thanking/praising them for all their many blessings they bestow upon us!

And I'm also so grateful that everyone has angels watching over them too!

The angels answer our call for help---they arrange situations with such finesse and delicacy that it boggles the mind---they never give up on us--they are our best friends and allies!

Thank You. Thank You. Thank You My Angels!

Happy Harvest Moon!

I took this photo last evening of the Full Moon rising. Haleakala is in the distance, and the night was very mystical--a perfect time to meditate!

Here's what I plan to do and maybe you can do the same? I like to go into my jacuzzi on the night of the Full Moon, stare at the moon, clear myself of the past moon month activity, and then energize myself for the coming month. While basking in the rays of the Full Moon, I meditate, pray, and commune with Nature. The night, the Moon, the warm water, and my intentions create a powerful experience for me.

The Mars Return

Photo: Charles Pfeil

I've been examining my Mars Return Chart and pondering its meaning today even though the date of the exact Mars Return isn't until October 9th. I like to look down the road when it comes to Returns. My Mars Return seems perfect for an auspicious kick-off for one (or maybe) two projects I have in mind.

The Mars Return comes around approximately every two years, and this Return is supposed to be a great time to begin long-term new projects, improve your exercise habits (oh, do I ever need to get back into exercise!), and to increase your energy.

This year my Mars will be in excellent aspect with Saturn and the North Node. Houses four, six and twelve will be highlighted.

Blog Your Blessings Sunday

This is my very FIRST post upon returning from my long journey. I traveled to familiar places and unfamiliar places, and I've returned feeling very BLESSED and RENEWED! Travel was just what I needed to re-fresh my Spirit, but even more rejuvenating and transforming was immersing myself in spiritual community which I did for part of my journey.

I belong to two ministries, and one of them was having their yearly gathering outside of Portland, Oregon--and I was long overdue to attend such a gathering. I don't think I'd attended one for maybe five years! It was so fabulous to see dear friends and colleagues and meet new ones! We sat by a campfire at night making S'mores and passing the talking stick, performed an ordination on an incredible new Bishop (I'm already a Bishop), talked up a storm, LAUGHED, planned, danced, made art, held an auction, had a talent show, and more. It was too much fun!

I am overflowing with blessings!

Moonlight Magic

Photo: Charles Pfeil

Every now and then I get REALLY excited about a new invention. Why? Because I've already envisioned something similar, and when I read that this invention has become a 3-D reality, I'm totally jazzed that it has finally arrived!

Such is the case with the Interstellar Light Collector, an amazing 50-foot-tall-moonlight collector invented by Richard Chapin for healing purposes.

"Situated in the Southern Arizona desert in a secure location 15 miles west of Tucson and 22 miles east of Kitt Peak National Observatory, the ILA collector is a parabolic, non-imaging optical collector composed of 84 mirrored collection panels. At 52 feet high, 60 feet across and weighing 25 tons, this breathtaking device is colossal, yet has the maneuvering capability and precision of a Swiss watch."

Read more about this at the company website.

Mahalo Nui Loa Genvieve for alerting me to this remarkable invention!I've always believed in the power of starlight/moonlight to heal!
