Blog Your Blessings Sunday--Aquarian Full Moon

Art Courtesy of Love Peace Happiness

"Under this steamy Thunder Moon so bright,
I call for patience, peace, and calm this night.
May a cooling summer rain come bless the land soon,
Bringing relief, and joy to the earth, like a boon.
For the good of all, with harm to none,
By the Thunder Moon this spell is done."

Beyonce Bounces Back

Photo: terragalleria

I'm a huge fan of Beyonce...actress, singer, and five time Emmy Award Winner. So I was shocked to hear the news that she had taken a tumble on stage in Orlando Florida's Amway Arena---down twelve stairs, landing on her face, not missing a beat and continuing the show! Yikes! What other performer do you know who could pull this tumble off with such poise?!

Beyonce Knowles, being the professional she is, rose gracefully (her natal Jupiter is in Libra) and continued the show, even though she was bleeding. So I asked myself, "what the heck was going on with her astro?"!

Here's my discovery: Beyonce was born September 4, 1981 in House Crossing, Texas, birth time unknown. Her Sun in Virgo and Moon in Scorpio= Innocence combined with a sexy, erotic image. Yup! That's my girl. Sweet and sexy at the same time.

On the day of the event, the transiting Sun in Leo was conjunct her Natal Mars (accidents, blood shed) and Leo North Node (destiny). So this aspect happens every year when the Sun goes round. What was different this year which possibly tripped her up? Oh yeh, that's right: astrocartography.....her Uranus is on the Ascendant near where she fell! As we all know, Uranus is the planet of surprises.

The combination of location with the transiting Sun over her natal Mars and North Node obviously packed a whammy and a surprise. The YouTube video of this fall has been pulled down, and soon this unfortunate incident will be lost to most people's memory. However, if you want to learn about true grit and the expression "the show must go on", remember Beyonce's bounce back!

Cha-Cha-Cha-Changes Are On Their Way

Art Courtesy of Love Peace Happiness

My partner and I've been talking about moving for a long time, but lately the desire to move has intensified, and we've decided we're going to go for it. Thus, change is blowing hot and heavy, almost as much as the gusting winds in our neighborhood.

And my daily astro report from Astrodienst seems to think this is the perfect time for me:

"Now is a good time to take care of any business matters concerning your home and personal life, such as buying or selling real estate, making home repairs, reorganizing your finances and making provisions for the future. On both the psychological and material levels you are unusually well organized, and your plans should work out successfully."

It's so much fun for me to observe Spirit Speaking and nudging us by bringing people into my life which confirms our choice of a place to move--and through the most unlikely ways! An example: I'm posting on a forum, and another forum person casually mentions to me where he's planning to move, and my intuition was this was the same country my partner and I had picked out. So I asked him where, and sure 'nuf, it is! This is just one of the many nudges that have happened in the last several months.

I've checked out our new astrocartography, and the charts I've drawn up for my partner and me for this new location will be another refreshing change for us as we both have been work-horses where we currently live--both of us have Saturn on the Zenith. I've had a chance to observe my partner when his Mars is on the Ascendant as it is at this new locale. He becomes the 'wild man' which he stuffs inside here because of work obligations, and he transforms into a warrior spirit. Far from being an angry man as some might assume with Mars on his ascendant, he's exuberant, full of mana, and gusto.

"We got to roll with the punches, play all of our hunches, make the best of whatever comes your way. Forget that blind ambition, learn to trust your intuition -- plowing straight ahead, come what may."

Blog Your Blessings Sunday

A beloved friend passed away recently. I blogged about it here and here.

The blessing from Tom's passing is his ability to communicate across the veil, and so he's been hanging around making commentary to me. Like another psychic friend jokes, "It's good to have friends in high places." Not everyone I've known who has crossed over comes and visits, so I feel very blessed that he's able to do so and desired to visit us.

On another note, I joined the Blog Writer's and Artists group this past week, and I invite anyone who'd like to become a member to join up. You can see the badge on my sidebar which will take you to this group.

My Progressed Moon in Aries has Arrived

Photography: terragalleria

Yesterday was one of those days for me where I made a long-overdue decision about my feelings toward blogging and comments in particular. The end result was that after reading what another top blogger had to say about her decision to turn off comments and also seeing that many other bloggers I respect have their comments turned off, I decided to do the same thing, but for my OWN reasons.

The resulting feeling from this decision was JOY and FREEDOM--like a huge burden/obligation had been removed from me--commenting on other blogs has been very time-consuming. When I began blogging, I thought 'comments' would be so much fun and a great way to network with others. I didn't realize commenting would soon become a heavy time-consuming job plus a trigger to perceive lack if there were few comments left on my posts plus hurt-feelings because so many bloggers don't reciprocate with comments.

I know enough metaphysics to know this: don't focus on what you don't have, or you will create exactly what you're fearing or lacking. Instead, feel gratitude for what you do have. The comment turn-off was my statement that 'feeling of lack' won't be given any more energy by me. Comments? What are they--a thing of the past on most of my blogs! And who knows...maybe on all of them!

It wasn't until I was exercising this morning that it hit me. My Progressed Moon had moved into Aires! So I ran to my computer and did my chart, and sure 'nuf, my Progressed Moon is now in Aries at 0 Degrees 5 Minutes. This gutsy new fukit feeling is surely due to my Aries Moon. I've never known an Aries not to be ballsy, and I'm going to be sharing their ballsiness with my Progressed Moon in Aries. I'm so looking forward to expressing more of the Aries energy.

Fire The Grid

Photo: Charles Pfeil

Fire The Grid has come at the right time this Summer because everyone's been so bummed out with the Sun transiting over Saturn recently. Saturn has a way of putting a wet blanket on the mass consciousness , and many have been telling me they've been feeling kinda sad and lonely. Like most friends and astrologers say, "This too shall pass." And it will. And it does.

Fortunately for me, the FireThe Grid happens at 1:11 am Hawaii time which is usually the time I'm communing with Spirit outside on my deck stargazing. I've heard both pros and cons about this experiment, but I'm not too worried. I have faith Great Spirit always knows exactly what it's doing, and as an astrologer, I know everything is always in perfect timing.

A major movement has been evolving around the creator of Fire The Grid. This unprecedented, historical event is intended to unite people. Here's the timetable should you choose to join in:

Tuesday, July 17, 7:11 AM EST, 4:11
AM PST, 1:11 AM HST.

Here's what the website has to say:

"Together we will reset Mother Earth with a bio-electric "SURGE OF
LOVE" from humanity. When we do sit in meditation simultaneously and fire the
Grid for one hour, we will unite the globe and connect all the regions of
the earth simultaneously. In the process, we will unite our souls in love,
peace, harmony and collective cooperation for a better world for our
people, today and in the future. This planned sitting of the people of
earth will demonstrate the love and faith we feel for the goodness of our
world and her inhabitants. We are the catalyst to the healing of earth.

This plan involves only one hour from each of us. Our combined
energies will work to direct energy to the Earth and to each other. I ask you to
choose the way in which you deliver your intention. For those of you that
pray, then pray for the hour asking for the faith and power to accomplish
this tremendous task. Those of you, who meditate, meditate and see the
intention of your thoughts swirling deep inside our earth delivering the
love and healing. Those of you who have no ritual of faith may simply
develop one that works for you. If you sit quietly and repeat a phrase of
your intention such as "I offer you my energy to heal this world and its
people." Any positive words of hope, love and desire for change will
manifest these thoughts as reality - our new reality. If possible, gather
with others during this hour. I have found that the intensity of my
meditation heightens when I am sharing the experience with other people."

There are also many You Tube videos about this should you like to know to watch and know more from the woman behind Fire The Grid, Shelley Yates, and a Don and Wynn BBS Radio Special at 4 AM PST if you'd like to tune in.

Blog Your Blessings Sunday--Bloggin Blues and Blessings

Photo: Charles Pfeil

It was the May-August time frame of 2006 when most of my blogs were born, and now that my blog anniversaries are rolling around, I'm re-appraising how much I've learned from blogging, how much time I've spent (and still spend), and where I wish to go with future blogging efforts.

This past year has been ONE huge learning curve, and when I began blogging, I was basically clueless about most everything blogging. I've made mistakes, made friends, and made most of my blogs Page Rank 4 blogs. However, I've become disenchanted with blogging as of late. Why?

I spend lots of time commenting on other's blogs, and so few other bloggers take the time to return a comment. With Stat-counter installed on my blogs and multiple widgets, I see how many people read my blogs and for how long. And yet, there are so few who take a moment to leave a brief comment, even with the I-Follow tag added on my sidebar which should alert them to the fact that if they leave a comment, they'll receive a back-link.

Frankly, I don't think most people who read blogs even know about the I-Follow movement, and many who read blogs don't blog, have blogs, or know diddly-squat about blogs--this is my consolation.

My blessings on this Blog Your Blessings Sunday is that my friends and family absolutely LOVE my blogs, and they always praise me, even if it feels as if I'm writing for a ghost audience.

New Moon in Cancer

Photo: Charles Pfeil

Today's New Moon in Cancer falls exactly on the degree of my Natal Saturn. VERY interesting! As always on the New Moon, it's wise to set your intentions for the month ahead.

Here's something I discovered surfing around which is silly and funny. Click on the sun signs for a reading.

Looking Back

Photo: Flickr

Many long years ago on a Friday the 13th an important event happened in my life, and today I decided to construct an astrology chart for this event. I don't know why it took me so long to check it out. Most likely it was because I didn't want to deal with it and to put it behind me.

Here are the major aspects:

Moon Opposite Saturn
Uranus on the Ascendant
Mars Opposite Uranus
Both Mars and Uranus in a tight t-square with the Sun
Moon conjunct Lilith

Any one want to guess what this event was?

"Never forget that life can only be nobly inspired and rightly lived if you take
it bravely and gallantly, as a splendid adventure in which you are setting out
into an unknown country, to meet many a joy, to find many a comrade, to win and
lose many a battle." Annie Besant

Moody Moon

If you read yesterday's post, you will recall I was dreading an 'obligation'. As it turned out, said obligation was absolutely the perfect prod from Spirit to eject me from my work rut where I find myself very comfortable! On top of it, I received two gifts-- really beautiful gifts from others-- which helped to turn my disposition from gloomy to sunny-side up. By the end of the day, my mood had totally turned around! Hey, square aspects aren't all that bad! The moon moves fast, and we can quickly change our mood.

Karmic Obligations

There are days when there's just no getting around your 'obligations', and as much as you want to, you're gonna have to deal with it. Such a day is mine today. What are my aspects like today I asked myself. Are there any clues from my astrology chart to help me cope? Can I wisely navigate through my day with the help of the stars?

The transiting Moon is squaring my Ascendant which signifies moodiness and sensitivity, a day I would prefer not having to deal with others. Check!

The transiting Moon is also conjunct my natal Uranus and squaring my natal Sun. Not looking so good here. Since I don't have any support from the stars, my best option is to do as little as talking as possible. The quote below spells out more of the day's situation.

"If you very reliant on others, you are linked to their karma. The more you become self-sufficient and self-reliant, the more you are in your own karma and the easier life is to control. If you can’t make major changes, make small ones." Stuart Wilde

Summer of Love

I've been blessed with a creative burst of energy, and I've used this energy surge to re-decorate our home which is now nearly finished. New furniture was purchased for the living room, the bedrooms have been re-designed, and best of all, my garden deck is flourishing with blooming flowers everywhere. The deck has had a make-over too with a new fountain and new design. It's such a blessing to have breakfast outside on a summer morning at our table and take-in all the beauty around us.

The birds on our property are always singing, and one morning we looked up from breakfast, and directly overheard flew a huge flock of white egrets directly above us. I read once that this is when Ramakrishna became enlightened--just viewing birds flying overhead!

Getting A New Groove Going

Photo: Charles Pfeil

Sometime back I subscribed to one of those daily horoscope thingy's delivered via email, and I usually go 'ho-hum' when I read, them for as we know, they are so generalized they rarely seem relevant. However, today's message jumped out at me and nailed my current malaise. It was written by astrologer Rick Levine, and this is what it said:

"Doing the same old thing in the same old way isn't working for you now and it's crucial for you to break out of any patterns that have served their purpose. Part of your problem, however, is in the difficulty you have distinguishing what you call a groove from a rut. Don't let your attachment to the past keep you needlessly attached to it for too long."

Oh yeh, the RUT! As absolutely delicious as my 'rut' is, I'm well aware of it! Blogging has kept me entranced for about a year, and except for my senior blog (which is a three year old), most of my other blogs are hitting the one year mark. And as they do so, I've been assessing how much time I wish to continue investing in them.

The buzz on the net (or is it hype?) is that the Shift of 7-7-7 is going to be BIG for everyone and put us all on a new playing field. Will these energies propel me out of my comfortable rut which seems like trying to row through jelly to exit? Will I find a new passion? Will I stop procrastinating and jump into something new?

In 2006 I made a visit to Lily Dale, New York, the small town made famous because of all the mediums who reside and work there. I had sessions with two of the most prominent mediums, and one of them drew on a large piece of paper with colored pastels as she spoke in staccato fashion. I tried to take notes, but she was too fast for me. However, I was given the drawing to take home with me, and the destiny markers/timelines for my coming years coordinated with different colors going all the way through 2011. And right on the bottom of the drawing is the date of July 2007 which begins a new period in my life--colored green.

We are two days into July, and I can feel the powerful urge to create something new. Yesterday I went through my closet and gave away lots and lots of clothes.

My astro aspects supports this impending change with transiting Uranus square my natal Uranus and transiting Jupiter opposite my natal Uranus. Uranus is sitting directly on my Ascendant minus one degree. Goodbye rut! Hello unknown!

"The great advantage of being in a rut is that when one is in a rut, one knows exactly where one is." Thomas Arnold Bennett
