Upcoming Lunar Eclipse in Virgo

Art courtesy of Love Peace Happiness

"In life, as in art, the beautiful moves in curves." Edward George Earle Bulwer-Lytton

Oh Great! Not only am I reading reports of an intense "energy pulse" impacting Earth in late February-early March (according to some), there will be a Virgo Lunar Eclipse this coming Saturday which will impact the degrees from 10-18 of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces!

To do list:
Practice bending like a willow.
Expect the unexpected.
Move in curvy fashion.
Breathe deeply.

The Big Face-Off Day of Saturn And Neptune

Today's the Big Day when Saturn and Neptune face off exactly opposite each other. Being a sensitive, I've been feeling this intense energy from this aspect. My natal Venus has been getting squeezed in the middle since Saturn has retrograded back to my Venus. Neptune has been opposing my Venus for many long years. There will be a new beginning for me and many very soon. My choice is to follow the advice of the following quote by accepting, allowing, and surrendering.

"Your first chance is to surrender each moment to the reality of that moment. Knowing that what is cannot be undone--because it already is--you say yes to what is or accept what isn't. Then you do what you have to do, whatever the situation requires. If you abide in this state of acceptance, you create no more negativity, nor more suffering, no more unhappiness. You then live in a state of nonresistance, a state of grace and lightness, free of struggle." Eckhart Tolle

Blog Your Blessings Sunday

This meme is my weekly contribution to the weekly Blog Your Blessings created by Blue Panther, and along with the rest of the members, we blog our blessings every Sunday. If you would like to see the member list, look on the bottom of the sidebar to click on their blogs and read their blessings.

Today my blessings are many. For one thing, one of my blogs, the Maui Skies blog, which rarely and only once in a Blue Moon, even receives a comment was picked to be the Blog Of The Day by Crystal on Fuel My Blog!

For this I am grateful! I love this little photoblog of mine. It's one of my babies, and even though it doesn't get as much attention as my other blogs, I love it none the lest!

I'm also grateful today for the invitation to some great parties, new friends, continued good health of my beloveds and myself, and the HINTS of a better world which have been showing up all around us in news articles, blogs, and emails.

And for all my fellow Blog Your Blessings group, check out this new Blessings Generator I discovered: WorldWideBlessing.

Blog Your Blessings Sunday

As a child, I was clairvoyant and clairsentient--talking to my angels and invisible beings that no one else could see. My gifts terrified my Mother who couldn't see what I could see or know what I knew, and she was distressed and displeased whenever I would share stories that later came true. Therefore, I shut down my gifts so as to not upset my Mother.

Only in my twenties was I able to reclaim some of what earlier had come naturally to me. This took some work with others using various methods such as soul retrieval for example. I wasn't around my scolding Mother anymore, and I had friends who also had gifts. I took classes, studied with many great teachers, and once again I opened up to the Other Side and the invisible world. Even though never working as a professional psychic, I listened to and collaborated with my angels and guides.

While working as a presenter/speaker on a Caribbean cruise with other well-known speakers, psychics, and teachers, I became alerted to the gifts I had through a series of tests. Three tests were given in which everyone participated. The first test involved an assistant of a famous psychic researcher putting three tarot cards inside a safe. You had to guess which three. The second test involved remote viewing, and when the cruise ship stopped in Puerto Rico, an unknown person would go to an unnanounced location-- later you had to draw on a piece of paper the features of this location. The third test involved another psychic question. Out of the approximately 300 people who participated, one famous male New York psychic and myself tied with perfect answers! It was then I realized what remarkable angels I have.

I feel all my gifts originate from my angels and guides. They are so good to me, and I am so grateful for their guidance, protection, and love. Without their assistance, I don't know how I would have survived. They ease my pathway and have demonstrated time after time after time to others and to myself their wisdom, love, and knowledge. I say thank you to them all day long for this and for that. Even though I know their abilities, I am still in awe! Quite simply, I love my angels, and I know I am loved! How great is that? I am blest beyond belief.

New Moon in Aquarius Tomorrow

Photo: Flickr

Lately I've been hopping around other astrology blogs, subscribed to some more, and checked-in on what other astrobloggers are posting. Take Jeffrey Kishner's post where he writes about Saturday's New Moon in Aquarius,"I've never truly understood the sign of Aquarius." Well, that makes three of us--my daughter and me making up the other two as we both have Aquarius partners! Although there is a large difference in our partner's ages, they seem to have so many traits in common which baffle us. I've never been one who likes to generalize about the Sun signs, but hey....these Aquarians are certainly a breed unto themselves! My daughter and I compare notes a lot, and there are strong similarities. Despite years of observing and interacting with my partner, his ways are still a mystery to me.

For those lay people who have never had a chart done by a professional astrologer or have the money to pay for one right now, here is an excellent resource for you: Astrodienst. Their set-up is really easy to handle--it's free, but if you wish to upgrade for more, you can. They offer lots of free features (such as the personal daily astrology and astrocartography maps) that you should have fun playing around on their site for a long time.

Closing In On New Moon

I took the photo above in the early dawn today outside my Maui home. If you look closely, you can distinguish a palm tree and palm fronds. The New Moon of Aquarius is four days away. This will be an interesting one for me with an Aquarian partner considering Neptune is still in orb to his Sun with a Saturn opposition. He keeps forgetting his wallet when he goes off to work.

Another Go Around With Mercury Retrograde

Photo: Charles Pfeil

Tomorrow Mercury will turn retrograde, a period when we are supposed to review everything carefully before signing off on it, and in general, be patient with communication glitches. Some Mercury retrogrades I sail through, and some are problematic for me. As I always write, "we'll see."

Honor The Gift

Photo: Flickr

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”
Albert Einstein*

Maybe today with the Sun-Neptune conjunction, we'll allow our intuitive mind a chance to shine.

Keeping It Simple

Photo: terragalleria

Update on the transits to our charts which I mentioned in my last post:

My partner received TWO gifts (both unexpected and one very costly) PLUS an offer to buy his business.

As for myself, I have been blessed with a surge of energy and creativity--thus far, no gifts. Bleh! This may be because my exact birth time and place is very dubious. I've had my chart rectified, but still there are questions and uncertainties.

What Is Reality Anyway

Photo: terragalleria

"I am an old man and have known many troubles, but most of them never happened." Mark Twain

Using this quote as a jumping off point, I have been following the astro charts of myself and my partner. The Venus-Uranus conjunction of tomorrow (along with the North Node and Ceres) will aspect very sensitive places and planets in BOTH our charts. I am eagerly awaiting to SEE if anything at all will happen! I'll let you know....

Another Year Rolls Around

"Age is nothing but experience, and some of us are more experienced than others" Andy Rooney

I have two beloveds with birthdays this month. One was born February 10th and the other February 20th. Yesterday I began work on their solar return charts, and from what I know of their lives, I can already see the NEW solar return chart impacting their lives. According to my handy-dandy reference book, "Planets in Solar Returns" (which is totally underlined and scribbled up!) by Mary Shea: "The symbolism of the new solar return can be felt as much as three months before the birthday by very intuitive people. Usually, at this time, one becomes aware of new directions, opportunities, and problems. Many times there is even an event exactly three months before the birthday which triggers awareness and signals the beginning of the new solar return. This event is usually very much related to the new solar return and very much out of context with the old one."

And here, she writes, "The main transitional month for the change from the old solar return to the new solar return is the month directly preceding the birthday."

Since I know these two beloveds so well, I can totally see what she writes!

She also writes, "The solar return chart is very simple to interpret and it is probably the easiest predictive technique to use." This is what I have discovered to.

Blog Your Blessings Sunday

You are the peace of all things calm
You are the place to hide from harm
You are the light that shines in dark
You are the heart's eternal spark
You are the door that's open wide
You are the guest who waits inside
You are the stranger at the door
You are the calling of the poor
You are my Lord and with me from ill
You are the light, the truth, the way
You are my Saviour this very day.

The Speed of Time

Art Courtesy of Love Peace Happiness

"Hold fast to time! Use it! Be conscious of each day, each hour! They slip away unnoticed all too easily and swiftly." Thomas Mann

Today I am theme-ing my many blogs, and today's theme is Time! Why? I really got how much time is speeding up last evening when I went outdoors to observe the Full Moon which was shining bright in the dark Hawaiian sky. The clouds were moving so quickly in the sky in front of the moon that the perception was the Moon itself was racing through the sky at an incredible speed. Even though what I witnessed was an illusion, I got a strong download about what is happening to our world on a deeper level.
