Catch A Falling Star and Put It In Your Pocket...

and save it for a rainy day. This is what my partner needs to do this weekend of the finale of the Perseids Meteor Shower. He'll have lots of chances to see them because the moon won't be shedding its light, and we have a beautiful dark backyard in which to encamp, star gaze, and grab a falling star. With a predicted 60 meteors per hour flying past, hopefully we'll catch at least one.

Here's why we seriously need a lucky falling star: on Sunday the New Moon at 20 degees Leo will be opposing his Natal Sun conjunct transiting Neptune. This set-up sounds super challenging to me, and so a lucky star would be most helpful.

I'm out almost every night star gazing, and I did see ONE this week! What is it about seeing a shooting star? Something about seeing one makes you so happy! At least, this is the effect it has on me!

Here's the rest of the song from Lostpedia:

Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Never let it fade away
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Save it for a rainy day

For love may come and tap you on the shoulder
Some starless night
Just in case you feel you wanna hold her
You’ll have a pocketful of starlight

Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Never let it fade away
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Save it for a rainy day

For love may come and tap you on the shoulder
Some starless night
And just in case you feel you wanna hold her
You’ll have a pocketful of starlight

Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Never let it fade away
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Save it for a rainy day

For when your troubles start multiplyin’
And they just might
It’s easy to forget them without tryin’
With just a pocketful of starlight

Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Never let it fade away
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Save it for a rainy day

Save it for a rainy day

Did you catch one! I hoe you get some pictures, too. Thanks for posting this song. Just perfect for my Sunday a.m.

I don't know where my stars are these days, but I suspect someone ran off with them in his back pocket! Talk about challenging times!

God bless your Sunday!
