Karmic Surprise

Photo: terragalleria

Last Sunday my partner had a weird thing happen to him. As he was driving down the highway, an errant golf ball from a golf course on the right side of the road hit the front window of his car as he was driving. The golf ball hit with such force that it shattered his front window splashing glass inside. He was so shocked by this sudden event that he swerved and just barely missed a truck parked along the highway, and he counted his blessings that no serious damage had been done or no one injured. That same day he lost a lucrative business account.

The day of the accident had the aspect of Sun square Uranus which would suggest sudden, explosive accidents. And yet, there were lots of other people who didn't have a golf ball hit their car window! So I looked at his astro chart to see why him!

The Nodes are often considered karmic indicators. I've read the book by the well-known astrologer, Martin Schulman, who wrote the book, "The Moon's Nodes--Astrology's Link to Reincarnational Karma" which reveals how the Moon's nodes and karma work together.

On the day of the accident the transiting North Node was applying to my partner's Venus within a one degree orb (the deductible!), and transiting Saturn was applying to his North Node by two degrees. My patner feels this accident was not just an accident, but karmic--and he's been atoning ever since.

'The Act of God designation on all insurance policies; which means, roughly, thatyou cannot be insured for the accidents that are most likely to happen to you." Alan Cohen
